Spiegel’s Repository ~ See you later Cowboy…

So, yeah, forgot to mention that all my grades for this past semester have come in, the most notable being my C++ programming class being an A+ with two other As beside it, two Bs, and a lonely C in accounting. I hated that class so much but the semester is now over and time to move on.
That about it for now, more to come I hope later.

I am currently residing in Whitefish Montana for the christmas break, got a good job and free lift passes and skii rentals. I cant wait to get out on the slopes and have some fun. Anyway, I was inticed to post by a friend of mine who recently took a rather lengthy test to tell what D&D character he was, and well, I am that nerdy so i took it too. Here are his results and here are mine:
I Am A: Lawful Good Human Sorcerer (3rd Level)
Ability Scores:
Strength-14
Dexterity-11
Constitution-16
Intelligence-14
Wisdom-13
Charisma-12
Alignment:
Lawful Good A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. He combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. He tells the truth, keeps his word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice. A lawful good character hates to see the guilty go unpunished. Lawful good is the best alignment you can be because it combines honor and compassion. However, lawful good can be a dangerous alignment because it restricts freedom and criminalizes self-interest.
Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.
Class:
Sorcerers are arcane spellcasters who manipulate magic energy with imagination and talent rather than studious discipline. They have no books, no mentors, no theories just raw power that they direct at will. Sorcerers know fewer spells than wizards do and acquire them more slowly, but they can cast individual spells more often and have no need to prepare their incantations ahead of time. Also unlike wizards, sorcerers cannot specialize in a school of magic. Since sorcerers gain their powers without undergoing the years of rigorous study that wizards go through, they have more time to learn fighting skills and are proficient with simple weapons. Charisma is very important for sorcerers; the higher their value in this ability, the higher the spell level they can cast.

I recently upgraded wordpress on here, and while I do like the new back-end for it and it seems to run a little smoother, I find it very odd that a day after i upgrade, i suddenly find myself with 1090 new comments on one post. All of which are spam of course. I suppose the good just has to come with the bad.
Also, had the first test of the semester come up this past week or so and I suppose I did decently. Other than that I had my 6 month anaversary with Haley a Friday or so ago. That was fun up until the part where my car gets towed. That was about $125 dollars of my life that is now gone, but money is money, we make some, we lose some, it’s all part of the cycle.
Anyway, until next time, later.

Bore me. There are, of course, the classes that can still keep my attention, but for the most part, I am experiencing a serious lack of motivation with my classes so far this year. The worst of all so far would be Macroeconomics with my lovely teacher who Love macro economics long time. No offense to her, but her speaking voice is not only hard to understand but also does not even remotely sound interesting when she talks. I know I have to tough through it though, that is how school works.
My favorite class by far this semester is CS 116, which is an intro course to C++. Right now, I am already chapters ahead of the rest of the class and it makes me feel good. The course content, so far, is easy, though I do expect it to get harder. Most of the programs we have had to write in class so far were simple in/out/print programs. I do have one thing I do not like thought, is they do not allow goto statements in homework assignments because it is “Uncontrolled.” I suppose it could be for the purpose of the course, but I damn sure love using it.
Lastly, I have started this years exercise attempt, though hopefully it will go better as I have someone to do all this with. So far we have started rock climbing 3-4 times a week and hope to go more frequently. And when we finally get an email, we will start full-contact kick boxing and karate.
Other than that, I may be starting to play World of Warcraft, but we will see about that in time…

I am uploading a few more images my sister took this past holiday, so far it has been a great weekend with Haley down and things going so well. Good food, good fun. We shot fireworks and went swimming in the bay, and I got to play with my niece again!
Anywho, just click on the Gallery link at the top and enjoy!
